Edna Mae Phillips Lucado, 99, of Oak Hill, WVA, formerly of Iron Gate, died on Friday August 11, 2017 in Bower’s Hospice House, in Beckley, WVA.
She was born February 14, 1918 in Amherst, Virginia, a daughter of the late Henry and Sara Phillips.  

She was a loved and longtime member of Kayser Memorial Presbyterian Church in Iron Gate.  She was also a retired US Postal Clerk, having worked in the Iron Gate Post Office, and a former member of the Iron Gate Town Council, serving two terms.
In addition to her parents was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Lucado, a son and his wife Donald B. and Marcy Lucado, eight brothers, William, Charles, Hubert, Carl, Boyd, Elmo, Roy, and Aubrey Phillips, and two sisters, Carrie Ann Taylor Biggs and baby Ethel Phillips.
She is survived by two daughters, Ellen Lucado Wallace and husband Jeffrey DeBolt, of Telford, PA, Pamela Lucado Snuffer and husband Dennis, of Oak Hill, WVA, 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 Am Saturday August 19, 2017 in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with the Reverend Paul Brokaw officiating. 

Interment will immediately follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday at Nicely Funeral Home.
Per her request memorial tributes may take the form of contributions to Kayser Memorial Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 314, Iron Gate, VA 24448; Bower’s Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Dr., Beckley, WVA 25801, or the charity of your choice.
