Hall Elected To VSA State Office

Members of the Virginia Sheriffs’ Association recently elected Sheriff Kevin Hall of Alleghany County to serve a one-year term as secretary.
The 8,900-member organization represents Virginia’s sheriffs, deputy sheriffs and sheriff’s office personnel.
Hall was elected in October during the association’s annual meeting in Chesterfield. 
Sheriff Steve Dempsey of King George County was elected to serve a one-year term as president.
The 2018-2019 VSA Board of Directors consists of the following sheriffs:
— Dempsey, King George County, president.
— Sheriff Vanessa R. Crawford, Petersburg, immediate past president.
— Sheriff Beth Arthur, Arlington County, past  president.
— Sheriff B.J. Roberts,  Hampton, past president.
— Sheriff Steve M. Draper, Martinsville, past president.
— Sheriff Timothy C. Carter, Shenandoah County, first vice president.
— Sheriff Darrell W. Warren Jr., Gloucester County, second vice president.
— Hall, Alleghany County, secretary.
— Sheriff Fred S. Clark, Halifax County, treasurer.
— Sheriff John B. “J.B.” Gardner, Carroll County,  Region I.
— Sheriff Lane A. Perry, Henry County, Region II.
— Sheriff Timothy A. Allen,  Roanoke, Region III.
— Sheriff Donald L. Smith, Augusta County, Region IV.
— Sheriff Daniel T. McEathron, Warren County, Region V.
 
— Sheriff Dana A. Lawhorne, Alexandria, Region VI.
 
— Sheriff L. Mark Barrick, Mathews County, Region VII.
 
— Sheriff Brad W. Nunnally, Powhatan County,  Region VIII.
 
— Sheriff Wesley W. Reed, Prince Edward County, Region IX.
 
— Sheriff Kenneth W. Stolle, Virginia Beach – Region X.
 
Del. Margaret Ransone (R-99th House District) swore in the officers of the 2018-2019 Virginia Sheriffs’ Association Board.
