GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (VR) – Vandalia Health CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center has achieved Advanced Chest Pain Certification (ACPC) from DNV.

This certification affirms CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center’s excellence in chest pain diagnosis and treatment, inclusive of initial diagnostic services and therapies related to the complex specialty of chest pain.

“Advanced Chest Pain Certification lets our community know that our staff is trained to recognize symptoms of a heart attack quickly in order to provide the best possible care for chest pain patients,” said Becky Harless, Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. “This certification gives our community the confidence that our hospital has a system in place to deliver prompt high-quality care for chest pain emergencies.”

DNV’s Advanced Chest Pain Certification is dedicated to helping hospitals improve quality and patient safety. ACPC requirements are informed by the 2021 AHA/ACC Chest Pain Guideline and relevant requirements of the CMS Conditions of Participation for hospitals. The certification also incorporates a Quality Management System to develop, implement and maintain an ongoing system for measuring, monitoring and managing quality and patient safety to continually improve the care of patients.

“Achieving Advanced Chest Pain Certification demonstrates a commitment to excellence,” says Kelly Proctor, President of DNV Healthcare USA Inc. “It helps demonstrate to your community that you are providing the highest level of care that a hospital is designed to offer.”

In 2025, CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center received certification from DNV as an Acute Stroke Ready Center, affirming the hospital’s readiness to handle strokes and stroke related medical problems.
