Castillo Named South Division Hitter of the Week

COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – Covington Lumberjacks infielder Dariel Castillo has been named the Valley Baseball League South Division Hitter of the Week.

Castillo, who plays collegiately at the University of the Cumberlands, batted .533 (8-for-15) over three games. He scored four runs, drove in two, collected two doubles and stole six bases. Castillo the 5’10” 175lb lefthander is from Hialeah Florida
