CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (VR) – The Alleghany Highlands Arts Council will conclude its 2025-26 Performing Arts Series this Tuesday, May 5, with a performance by the Richmond Ballet. The show will begin at 7:00 PM at the Historic Masonic Theatre.

As the State Ballet of Virginia, Richmond Ballet performs extensively throughout the state and tours internationally, having appeared at renowned venues such as the Joyce Theatre in New York City and the Royal Opera House in London. This season, they return to the Alleghany Highlands for an encore presentation that showcases the beauty and power of dance.

The performance will feature a mixed repertory program that includes a range of dances, from classical to energetic and even comical, with music from famous classical composers.

Earlier this March, the company visited all four local elementary schools to conduct lecture demonstrations and hold interactive sessions with students.

This residency has been supported by a grant from the Alleghany Foundation, along with Touring Assistance from the Virginia Commission for the Arts.

For more information, please call the Arts Council at 962-ARTS (2787). Tickets are priced at $25 and can be purchased through a link on the Arts Council’s website: [www.Arts4AllAlleghanyHighlands.com](http://www.Arts4AllAlleghanyHighlands.com). Tickets will also be available at the Historic Masonic Theatre box office on Tuesday evening.

As a special consideration, students from Garlynda’s Fancy Feet, Patsy’s Dance Studio, A-1 Studios, and Cora Dance Alleghany are eligible for complimentary admission. Please check with your dance instructors for more information.
