Alleghany Highlands Public Schools will be closed on Monday, March 16, due to the possibility of severe weather. Students will participate in virtual learning from home.
School officials made the decision based on the latest information available from the National Weather Service, with the safety of students and staff as the top priority.
To support families, food packets will be available for pickup today between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at each school location.
