CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (VR) – Compass for Life is gearing up for its 2nd Annual Compass Classic Golf Tournament, set to take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Cliftondale Country Club. The event promises a day of friendly competition, community engagement, and charitable impact, all in support of the Compass for Life outreach program.

Golfers will tee off at Cliftondale Country Club, located at 2707 Longdale Furnace Road, with two flight options available: a morning tee time at 9:00 a.m. (Flight 1) and an afternoon tee time at 2:00 p.m. (Flight 2). Participants can register as four-person teams for $260 per team. Registration includes a golf cart, a swag bag, and lunch for all golfers.

In addition to tournament play, participants will have opportunities to enhance the fun and support the cause through mulligans available for purchase at $25, as well as 50/50 raffle tickets offering chances to win exciting giveaways and prizes.

Local businesses and community members are also invited to take part through sponsorship opportunities. Those interested in sponsoring a hole can choose from several levels: Bronze sponsorship at $100, Silver at $175, Gold at $250, and Platinum at $500. Sponsorships provide a meaningful way to promote a business while contributing to a valuable community initiative.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Compass for Life outreach program, furthering its mission and impact in the community.

To register a team, interested participants can call Cliftondale at 540-862-2081. For more information about sponsorship opportunities, contact Kristi D. Carter at 540-958-0428.

With a blend of recreation and philanthropy, the Compass Classic Golf Tournament is expected to bring together golfers, sponsors, and supporters for a memorable day on the green while making a difference in the lives of others.
