LOW MOOR, Va. (VR)  —  Alleghany Highlands Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday, February 4, due to overnight wintry precipitation and weather advisories issued by the National Weather Service.

The decision to close schools was made out of an abundance of caution, with the safety of students and staff as the district’s top priority.

Families and staff are encouraged to monitor official school communication channels for any updates.
