ITEMS FOR REGULAR SESSION AGENDA TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2026
ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS:
1. To consider and vote on Resolution R-26-04: VDOT Sidewalk Grant for Route 220 (Pine Street to Beech Street) totaling $332,748.00, including a $266,199.00 grant from VDOT and a 20% City match of $66,549.00.
2. To consider and vote on Resolution R-26-05: Re-appropriating FY25 funds totaling $43,740.34 for contingency and Downtown Economic Development projects.
3. To consider and vote on Resolution R-26-06: Rescinding Participation in the TAP/BSCI Land Bank Following Prior Notice. City Council is asked to consider a resolution formally rescinding the City of Covington’s participation in the TAP/BSCI Land Bank. City records reflect that written notice of intent to rescind participation was transmitted to TAP in 11/20/2023; however, upon review of City Council minutes and adopted resolutions for the period October 2023 through the first quarter of 2024, no formal Council action was identified. Adoption of this resolution will ensure the City’s records accurately reflect Council action and intent and will formally complete the rescission process.
APPOINTMENTS:
1. To consider and vote on reappointing Mr. Howard “Gene” Wood to the Industrial Development Authority.
