NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 

CLIFTON FORGE TOWN COUNCIL 

FEBRUARY 10, 2026, AT 7:00 PM

Notice is hereby given that the Council for the Town of Clifton Forge, Virginia, will conduct a Public Hearing pursuant to Sections 15.2-1800 and 15.2-1813 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 7:00 pm at Clifton Forge Town Hall, located at 547 Main Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia.

The public hearing is to consider the sale of 44 and 48 West Ridgeway Street in the Town, Alleghany County Tax Map Parcels 129-1-24-43A, 129-1-24-44, 129-1-24-45, and 129-1-24-46. The Town has received a purchase offer from Gwynn Glasscock and David Garson to purchase the property for $7,500.

Any person desiring to be heard in favor of, in opposition to, or express his or her views with respect to the proposed action may appear before and be heard by the Town Council during the Public Hearing at Clifton Forge Town Hall, at the above stated date and time.
