APPOINTMENT TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY BOARD
The Town Council for the Town of Clifton Forge is soliciting an individual to fill a vacant position on the Economic Development Authority Board. The term for this position will begin immediately upon appointment and end on December 31, 2026.
The function of the Authority is to support the Town Council in reaching its economic development and housing goals by making connections between members of our community, increasing the availability of jobs, increasing tax base, and providing safe, quality housing, including making loans and grants to nonprofit and
for-profit businesses, supporting our nonprofit and higher education community in obtaining capital for their projects, and purchasing and preparing real estate and buildings for lease or sale.
