LOW MOOR  — Alleghany Highlands Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Thursday, December 11, due to the potential for snow showers, light accumulation, and areas of black ice, particularly in the western portion of the county.

Forecasters are calling for falling overnight temperatures and the possibility of reduced visibility near daybreak as scattered snow moves through the western sections. Families and staff are encouraged to use caution while traveling and allow extra time for the morning commute.

Updates will be provided as needed through official school communication channels.
