COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – The Alleghany Retired Teachers’ Association will hold its holiday meeting on Tuesday, December 2, at 10:45AM in the fellowship hall of Temple Baptist Church in Covington. Lunch will be catered by Family TreeTs.
The guests for the meeting will be the Alleghany High School Choir presenting a holiday program, and Rachel Thompson, representing the 2025 Alleghany Highlands Christmas Mother program.
The service project for December is to collect donations for the Christmas Mother. Members are reminded to bring these items to the meeting.
All retired school personnel (teachers, principals, secretaries, bookkeepers, bus drivers, custodians, cafeteria workers, etc.) from Alleghany Highlands Schools or other educational institutions are invited to attend.
