Highlands Library Offering Computer Courses In July

The Digital Literacy series continues at the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library with two computer classes being offered in July. 
Adrienne Young, a local computer instructor, will offer “Tech Hacks” on Thursday, July 11, at 2 p.m. In the introductory class, participants will learn about some common computer hacks that will make their lives easier. 
The second class will be held on Saturday, July 13.  Young will teach a class at 11 a.m. on Internet searching. Young will teach how to use the Internet to buy and sell, conduct research, and complete online media.
Both classes will take place in the computer learning lab on the second floor of the library. Class size is limited, and registration is required for both classes.
Persons wishing to participate may register at the circulation desk or call the staff at 962-3321 to sign up.
The Alleghany Highlands Regional Library is located at 406 W. Riverside St.
