Alleghany County Public Works to Disrupt Water Service to Cherokee Area to Replace Master Meter on September 29

NOTICE TO CHEROKEE RESIDENTS

On Monday, September 29, 2025, Alleghany County Public Works will be replacing the master meter in the Cherokee area. During this time water service will be disrupted for an estimated six to eight hours. We apologize for any inconvenience.
