Bobby Darrell McAllister
Bobby Darrell McAllister, age 55, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 30, 20205. Bobby was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Barbara McAllister and two brothers, Dee and Ralph McAllister.
Bobby is survived by his wife Lynn, son Casey and granddaughter Maeson and significant other Haley Miller, son Josh and (grandson Aiden), (grandsons Cason, Levi, with their mother Angel McAllister, (grandson Hudsen and granddaughter Henslee with significant other Chasity Humphries and Chasity’s daughter Sophia) and daughter Beth with significant other Moses Riley. Bobby is also survived by his brothers Doug and Frank Jr.
Bobby retired from a 23 year career with the Virginia Department of Corrections and most recently was an Environmental Services Manager for Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital.
Bobby enjoyed being outdoors, NASCAR, fishing, grilling, and time spent with his family. At any given time you may have seen him working on his farm, or tinkering with any of his many vehicles, or equipment. Bobby could talk to anyone for hours and brought joy to so many. He will be missed by his family and so many others that knew and loved him.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
