Nathan Allen Mays

Nathan Allen Mays, age 49, of 1506 Cedar Street, Clifton Forge died on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at his residence.

Nathan was born on December 1, 1975 to James Grant Mays, Jr. and Brenda Humphreys Mays. He was a self-employed journeyman welder, and a member of Iron Gate Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a number of aunts and uncles.

Nathan is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Brenda Mays of Clifton Forge; aunts and uncles, Linda Humphreys, Yancey Humphreys, Letcher Humphreys, Lester Humphreys, and Milton Mays; and a cousin, Stephanie Taylor.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Grover Nicely officiating. Interment will follow in Sharon Baptist Cemetery, Clifton Forge. Pallbearers will be selected from friends and family attending the service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday afternoon from 12:30 PM until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
