Mrs. Barbara Warlitner Linkenhoker, age 83, of Covington, died Sunday, July 20, 2025, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Thomas E. Linkenhoker, Sr. Mrs. Linkenhoker was born April 10, 1942, in Alleghany County, the daughter of the late Frank Edward Warlitner, Jr. and Mamie Gladys Fix Warlitner. She was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family.

Mrs. Linkenhoker is survived by her children, Tom Linkenhoker and Wanda Nicely of Clifton Forge, Denise and Chuck Tingler of Covington, Valerie and Wayne Williams of Tennessee, Jennifer and Lance Lockhart of Covington; a grandson that she and her husband raised, Josh Linkenhoker and wife, Ellen of Iowa; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Ashley, Alex, Jeremy, Kelsey, Charlie, Kim, Ben, Jacob, Megan and Ryan; her great grandchildren, Annistyn, Aurlie, Ashlynn, Collin, Katie, Macy, Lily, Deacon, Ellie, Josie and Dalton;

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Linkenhoker was preceded in death by her son, Michael E. Linkenhoker.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 25, 2025, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Williams, Jr. officiating. Entombment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon from 12:30 P.M. until time of service at Loving Funeral Home.
