MARTINSVILLE, Va. (VR) – The Alleghany Highlands YMCA Dolphins Swim Team turned in a strong performance during their latest meet at the Martinsville YMCA, with several swimmers earning top placements and personal bests across multiple events.

Leading the pack for the Dolphins was Jack Shull, who dominated the Boys 13-14 division by capturing first place in the 50 Back, 50 Fly, and 50 Free events, and placing second in the 50 Breast. Shull’s consistent efforts earned him 77 total points, making him one of the top scorers of the meet.

Oliver Manning, competing in the 6 & Under and 10 & Under divisions, also had an impressive showing. Manning earned first place in the 25 Backstroke and added valuable points in the 50 Backstroke and 25 Freestyle. His performances showed significant improvement, especially in the 50 Back, where he dropped over 12 seconds from his previous time.
