June 29, 2025 Deputy T. Plecker removed a tree blocking the roadway on Dry Run Rd.

June 29, 2025 Deputy T. Plecker assisted VSP with traffic control on Sam Snead Hwy. where a tree was blocking the roadway.

June 29, 2025 Deputy T. Harlow conducted a traffic stop on Mountain Valley Rd. near Windy Cove.

June 29, 2025 Deputies C. Altizer and T. Harlow conducted a traffic stop at the Overlook on Warm Springs Mountain.

June 29, 2025 Deputy Altizer checked in Williamsville for reported flooding and trees fallen in the roadway.

June 29, 2025 Deputies D. Smith & Harlow responded to Thomastown for a disturbance.

June 29, 2025 Deputies C. Altizer and T. Harlow responded to Millboro Springs for a suspicious vehicle reported at a business.

June 30, 2025 Sgt. C. Smith assisted with traffic control on Cowpasture River Hwy. where a tree was blocking the road.

June 30, 2025 Deputy T. O’Conner conducted a traffic stop near Fairview Community Center.

June 30, 2025 Deputy T. McRoberts assisted Bath DSS on a well-being check.

June 30, 2025 Deputy R. Miller investigated a report of a suspicious person on Panther Dr.

June 30, 2025 Deputy T. O’Conner conducted a traffic stop near the Overlook on Warm Springs Mountain. Lt. Grimm assisted.

June 20, 2025 Deputies M. Colaw and T. O’Conner investigated a report of suspicious individuals near Bath County High School.

June 30, 2025 Deputy M. Colaw responded to the Virginia Elks Camp for an automated 911 call for help.

June 30, 2025 Deputy R. Miller conducted a traffic stop on Mountain Valley Rd.

July 1, 2025 Deputy M. Colaw conducted a traffic stop on Main St. in Hot Springs.

July 1, 2025 Deputies T. Plecker and R. Miller assisted Bath DSS in the Millboro area.

July 1, 2025 Deputy M. Colaw and K-9 Spidey conducted a search of a commercial vehicle in Warm Springs.

July 1, 2025 Deputy T. Plecker responded to a report of a stray dog on Tunnel Hill Rd.

July 1, 2025 Deputy T. O’Conner unlocked a vehicle at Douthat State Park.

July 1, 2025 Sheriff R. W. Plecker with Deputies Miller, O’Conner, Altizer, Colaw and T. Plecker in conjunction with Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office
conducted an investigation and search in the Morris Hill area.

July 2, 2025 Deputy D. Smith received a report of a stolen firearm.

July 2, 2025 Sgt. C. Smith responded to Mountain Grove to investigate a report of a suspicious person walking along the road.

July 3, 2025 Sgt. C. Smith responded to the Springs Nursing Center to unlock a vehicle.

July 3, 2025 Sgt. C. Smith responded to Sam Snead Hwy. to a report of a reckless driver headed north into Bath County.

July 4, 2025 Sgt. C. Smith assisted a citizen in Bacova.

July 4, 2025 Deputy M. Colaw responded to Old Mill Rd. for a car illegally parked, blocking the roadway.

July 4, 2025 Deputy T. O’Conner investigated a report of threats made and the theft of a shotgun in the Millboro area.

July 4, 2025 Deputies J. Bryan IV and M. Colaw responded North of Mitchelltown for an animal control call.

July 4, 2025 Deputies J. Bryan IV and M. Colaw received a complaint of a large bonfire and fireworks in the Cedar Creek Trailer Park area.

July 4, 2025 Deputies J. Bryan IV, T. O’Conner and M. Colaw responded North of Mitchelltown for an animal control call.

July 5, 2025 Deputy T. O’Conner conducted a follow- up on a report of threats made and the theft of a shotgun in the Millboro area.

July 5, 2025 Deputy T. O’Conner checked on a disabled vehicle near Kool-Dri on Mountain Valley Rd.

July 5, 2025 Deputy T. O’Conner checked the Bolar Mountain Rec Area.

July 5, 2025 Deputy R. Miller investigated a report of littering near the transfer station.

July 5, 2025 Lt. Grimm with Deputies C. Altizer and R. Miller conducted a search for a missing person on Jackson River Turnpike.

July 5, 2025 Lt. J. Grimm with Deputies R. Miller, C. Altizer and T. O’Conner arrested Billy Ray Ryder on a Capias from Rockbridge County for a
probation violation. Ryder was transported to the Rockbridge County Jail.

July 6, 2025 Deputy Colaw responded to Dry Run Rd. to check the area for trees blocking the roadway.

July 6, 2025 Deputies J. Bryan IV and M. Colaw responded to Douthat State Park Rd. for a report a trespassing.

Bath County Sheriff’s Office emergency communications officers answered 267 incoming calls and made 123 outbound calls during this time period.
