ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va. (VR) – Alleghany Highlands Healthcare Advancement (AHA) students recently visited Randolph-Macon College in Ashland to conclude their year of study. During the visit, the Alleghany High School students met with Dr. Erich Grant, Chair of Physician Assistant Studies, who works closely with AHA Coordinator Ginni Phillips to organize the program. Launched in 2022, the Advanced Healthcare Pathways program is a partnership between Alleghany Highlands Public Schools, Randolph-Macon College, and several healthcare organizations, providing students with hands-on experience and exposure to careers such as physicians, physical therapists, and dentists. For more information, contact Ginni Phillips at virginia.phillips@ahps.k12.va.us.  (AHPS Photo)
