CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (VR) — AHACC is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a HVAC System Replacement grant from the Alleghany Foundation. This funding acknowledges our impactful contributions to Alleghany County, the region, and its citizens.
The Alleghany Highlands Arts and Crafts Center’s mission is to promote visual arts through Education, Exhibition, and Marketing, and is accomplished through annual, exceptional Gallery exhibits rotating every 4-6 weeks, and the offering of more than 30 art classes yearly for beginners to the experienced. These educational activities aid in promoting art appreciation. The Shop serves the entrepreneurship of juried artists by
professionally displaying and marketing their work.
Because of these funds, visitors, along with residents, continue to enjoy their experience at AHACC. Visitors who indicate they are returning guests are the largest group of people who sign our guestbook. The AHACC’s total direct benefit to our local area is approximately $120,944.
