Clifton Forge opens two cooling stations Monday, June 23 – Friday, June 27

CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (VR) – The Clifton Forge Fire Department, 701 Church Street, and the Clifton Forge Volunteer Rescue Squad, 1610 Hickory Avenue, will be open as cooling stations from Monday, June 23-Friday, June 27 from 10am-8pm, due to the extreme heat that has been forecast for this week.

If anyone needs assistance getting to one of these locations, contact the Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office at 540-965-1770 ext. 0.
