LOW MOOR, Va. (VR) – At the conclusion of closed session on Thursday, June 12, 2025, the School Board took the following personnel action:

The School Board approved the appointments of Abby L. Martin as Health and Physical Education Teacher; Shelby L. Fury; and Deanne K. Helmintoller; both as Paraprofessionals; all at Mountain View Elementary School. Also approved was Shannon L. Hogan as Secretary/Bookkeeper; and Giaynna A. Haynes-Smith as Paraprofessional; both at Jeter-Watson Elementary School. Tara M. Martin was approved as Music/Band Teacher; and Addie M.
Holesapple was approved as Math Teacher; both at Covington Middle School. Brenda L. Tancredi was approved as Part-Time
Shuttle Driver.

In Extra-Curricular activities the School Board approved Trevor A. McLaughlin as JV Volleyball Head Coach at Alleghany High School.

The School Board accepted the resignations of Christy G. Armentrout; English Teacher; Rhonda L. Ryder; Food Services Worker; and Mary D. Tyree; Spring Track Assistant Coach; all at Alleghany High School. Brook A. Snead; Paraprofessional/EC at Jeter-Watson Elementary School. Jessica L. Freeman; Paraprofessional/SPED at Mountain View Elementary School. Benjamin W. Nicely; and Brenda L. Tancredi; both as Bus Drivers.

The School Board has accepted the retirement of Jewel H. Tincher; Administrative Assistant to Payroll at Central Office.
