COVINGTON, (VR) –  The Council for the City of Covington will hold a CALLED MEETING on THURSDAY, JUNE 19, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 333 W. Locust Street, Covington, Virginia.

Items on the agenda include:

2025-2026 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET VOTE: Council will vote on the proposed 2025-2026 Fiscal Year Budget.

ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS:
1. To Consider and vote on Ordinance O-25-03: Imposing and levying Personal Property, Machinery, and Tools Taxes within the City of Covington. For the tax year beginning January 1, 2026, and ending on December 31, 2026.

2. To Consider and vote on Ordinance O-25-04: Imposing and levying Real Estate Taxes and Public Services Taxes with the City of Covington. For the tax year beginning July 1, 2025, and ending on June 30, 2026.
