Dear Editor:

I’m writing to share my support for Delegate Terry Austin and highlight just how much he’s done for our community. Delegate Austin has always been there for the people of the Alleghany Highlands when we have needed him, and I’ve seen, firsthand, how committed he is to helping people, especially his constituents.

Last October, The Wall That Heals, a moving replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, came to Covington. It was such an important event for our community, especially for our veterans and their families. Delegate Austin’s support and assistance with VDOT was key to making it happen, and it meant so much to so many of us.

On a personal note, my husband and I were dealing with a frustrating DMV issue that had dragged on for almost a year. After getting nowhere for months, I decided to call

Delegate Austin’s office. To my surprise, the problem was fixed by the next day! That’s the kind of quick action and care he brings to the table.

Delegate Austin is approachable, responsive, and gets things done. He truly cares about our community, and we’re lucky to have him representing us.

With the June 17th primary coming up, I hope you’ll join me in voting for Delegate Terry Austin. Let’s make sure he can keep doing great work for us in Richmond.

Sincerely,
Lynda Thompson
