LOW MOOR, Va. (VR) – The AHS Boys Varsity Soccer team secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Carroll County on Thursday night, with Ethan Phillips providing all the offensive firepower for the home side. Phillips scored both goals for AHS, both coming from penalty kicks, as his performance guided the team to a crucial win.
Phillips’ first goal came early in the match, converting a penalty kick to give AHS the 1-0 lead. His second strike arrived once again from the penalty spot, increasing the lead to 2-0 and putting the team in a strong position.
