Stephany Gale Hall Williams
Stephany Gale Hall Williams, age 74, of 314 YMCA Way, Covington, Virginia died on Friday, March 28, 2025, at her residence.
Stephany was born on July 25, 1950, in Newport News, Virginia to the late James Edward and Ellamae Holloway Hall. She was a retired Laboratory Technician for the former Alleghany Regional Hospital. She loved reading, trying different teas, and watching the birds. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Stephany brought the hope and heart of Jesus to all who knew her. She loved with authenticity and grace that extended a comfort beyond measure to those she loved. Her words of encouragement and wisdom will continue to shape her family for generations. Her family and friends celebrate with her, knowing she is reunited with her son Michael and will spend eternity with him and with Jesus. Our sorrow here on earth without her cannot compare with the rejoicing in heaven and the day when we will all be together again in eternity.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Michael Hall, and two brothers, James Edward Hall, Jr. and Lloyd Michael Hall.
She is survived by her husband, John Franklin Williams III of Suffolk; a sister, Merry Ann Hall and two brothers, Burrell Hall (Kathy) and John David Hall, all of Clifton Forge; a sister-in-law, Sherry Hall of Newport News; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, all of which she loved dearly.
In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
