LOW MOOR, Va. (VR) – Last week was a fun week in the Alleghany Highlands Public School Division. It was Read Across America Week. AHPS stressed the importance of reading to students and celebrated the work of Dr. Seuss, a famous children’s author and cartoonist — some popular Dr. Seuss characters were seen at Mountain View Elementary School on “Dr. Suess Day.” Pictured are Mountain View staffers (first row) Deana Williams, Candice Dupoise (second row) Howard Nicely and Samantha Shelton.
