Alleghany County Grand Jury Returns October Indictments

Indictments were returned against numerous individuals Oct. 15 by an Alleghany County Circuit Court grand jury.
Evidence was presented by the office of Ann Gardner, commonwealth’s attorney for Alleghany County and Covington.
The following individuals named in the indictments were:
Jason David Harrison, Altavista. Abuse of a child-resulting in serious injury. Date of alleged offense: June 8, 2019.
Jennifer Leigh Nicely, Clifton Forge. Possession with intent to manufacture a Schedule I/II drug. Date of alleged offense: May 28, 2019.
Kendrick Hulsey, Clifton Forge. Possession with intent to manufacture a Schedule I/II drug. Date of alleged offense: May 28, 2019.
Jody Allen Jeffries Jr., Covington. Possession of a Schedule I/II drug. Date of alleged offense: May 18, 2019.
Rebecca Joy Britt, Covington.  Possession of a Schedule I/II drug. Date of alleged offense: July 5, 2019.
Anthony Shane Davis, Covington. Manufacture marijuana for others. Possession of a Schedule I/II drug. Date of alleged offenses: July 5, 2019.
Kayla Michelle Keyser, Covington. Sell or provide for the resale of a Schedule I/II drug. Date of alleged offense: June 25, 2019.
Hyan Marcos Santiago-Dumot, Covington. Possession of one-half ounce to five pounds of marijuana with intent to distribute. Sell or provide for the resale of a Schedule I/II drug. Date of alleged offenses: June 25, 2019.
Olivia Biggs, Clifton Forge. Hit and run with damage exceeding $1,000. Date of alleged offense: April 29, 2019.
Stephen Kelley Swan, Piney River. Destruction of property with damage exceeding $1,000. Date of alleged offense: May 27, 2019.
Keith William Charlton, Clifton Forge. Carry a concealed weapon-second offense. Date of alleged offense: July 9, 2019.
Timothy Earl Kimberlin Jr., Covington. Strangulation  resulting in wound or injury. Assault on a law enforcement officer. Date of alleged offenses: July 18, 2019.
Ashley Nicole Tucker, Clifton Forge. Possession of a Schedule I/II drug. Date of alleged offenses: June 20, 2019.
Anthony Stephen Fowler, Iron Gate. Possession of a Schedule I/II drug. Date of alleged offenses: June 21, 2019.
Heather Dawn Forbes, Covington. Shoplifting by altering the price of merchandise valued at less than $500-third or more offense (five counts). Dates of alleged offenses: April 7, 2019; April 8, 2019; April 12, 2019.
Kenneth Wayne Sculthorpe, Hopewell. Petit larceny-third offense (three counts). Dates of alleged offenses: March 1, 2019; March 2, 2019; March 3, 2019.
James Lacey Tucker Sr., Clifton Forge. Driving under the influence-prior related felony conviction. Date of alleged offense: July 21, 2019.
Trevor Allen Brown, Clifton Forge. Enter structure with intent to commit larceny, assault and battery or other felony. Larceny, third or more offense. Date of alleged offenses: July 22, 2019.
Andrea Renae Byer, Covington. Possession of a Schedule I/II?drug. Date of alleged offense: June 18, 2019.
Cordell Lamont Gibson, Low Moor. Abduction by force/intimidation. Strangulation resulting in wound or injury. Malicious wounding. Date of alleged offenses: June 26, 2019.
Bobby Taylor, Clifton Forge. Possession of a Schedule I/II drugs.  Possession of a weapon/ammunition (not a gun) by a convicted felon. Date of alleged offenses: Aug. 20, 2019.
Michael Ray Dunbar, Sutherland. Assault and battery of a law enforcement officer (three counts). Date of alleged offenses: June 26, 2019.
Steven Lee Maynard, Beckley, W.Va. Cruelty/ injury  to a child. Date of alleged offense: June 26, 2019.
Sierra Knighton, Covington. Cruelty/ injury  to a child. Date of alleged offense: June 26, 2019.
Chad Edward Williams, Covington. Destruction of property with damage totaling $1,000 or more.
Steven Todd Moody, Covington. Abuse of a child-serious injury. Date of alleged offense: July 14, 2019.
Cheyeanne I. Adkins, Clifton Forge. Child endangerment. Date of alleged offense: July 9, 2019.
James Dean Pegg Jr., Clifton Forge. Child endangerment (two counts). Date of alleged offenses: July 9, 2019.
Mary Kay Halterman, Covington. Possession of a Schedule I/II drug. Date of alleged offense: May 18, 2019.
Chester Ray Knight, Staunton. Driving after being declared an habitual offender. Date of alleged offense: Aug. 13, 2019.
Trevor Nelson Nicely, Covington. Possession of a Schedule I/II drug. Date of alleged offense: Aug. 2, 2019.
Joseph Lee Bray, Iron Gate. Possession of a Schedule I/II drug. Date of alleged offense: July 28, 2019.
Erin Branson Dilts, Salem. Escape from jail by force. Date of alleged offense: July 5, 2019.
Gustavo Nicholas Adolfo Ruano, Covington. Object sexual penetration by force. Date of alleged offense: May 5, 2018.
Zan Wayne Maynard, Delbarton, W.Va. Possession/transportation of a weapon after being convicted of a violent felony. Possession of a Schedule I/II drug (two counts). Date of alleged offenses: Sept. 5, 2019.
Chester Ray Knight, Staunton. Forgery of public records (four counts). Date of alleged offenses: Aug. 13, 2019.
Martha J. Douglas, Covington. Embezzlement involving $500 or more (eight counts). Dates of alleged offenses: Oct. 1, 2015; Jan. 1, 2016; July 1, 2016; Jan. 1, 2017; July 1, 2017; Jan. 1, 2018; July 1, 2018; Jan. 1, 2019; July 1, 2019.
Timothy Earl Kimberlin, Covington. Attempted capital murder. Date of alleged offense: July 18, 2019.
Kermit Elwood Lugar III, Covington. Possession/transportation of a weapon after being convicted of a violent felony. Date of alleged offense: April 15, 2019.
Austin Peery, Covington. Embezzlement of $500 or more (five counts). Date of alleged offenses: Jan. 1, 2019.
Malinda Gale Rose, Covington. Possession of a Schedule IV drug. Date of alleged offense: Oct. 7, 2018.
David E. Wooldridge Jr., Hot Springs. Driving while intoxicated: Alcohol/drugs (first offense). Date of alleged offense: July 23, 2019.
