William Lafayette “Sonny” Craft, Jr., age 83, of 400 Commerce Avenue, Iron Gate, Virginia died Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Woodlands Health and Rehab, Clifton Forge, Virginia.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Rev. Ray Sandifer and Mr. Chris Fisher officiating. Interment of cremated remains with follow privately at the Bethel Cemetery, Botetourt County. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Iron Gate Volunteer Fire Department. The family would like to recognize the fine staff of the Woodlands Health and Rehab and David Shores for excellent care given to Sonny.
