BLOODMOBILE Jan. 14 First Christian Church

The WestRock Rescue Squad is sponsoring an American Red Cross Bloodmobile on Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the First Christian Church Family Life Center in Covington.
From left are C.J. Entsminger, WestRock Rescue Squad member; Susie Plasters, local Bloodmobile coordinator; and Clifford Persinger, also a member of the WestRock Rescue Squad.
“Blood donations are really down,” Plasters said. “All blood types are needed.”
Anyone who gives blood will be eligible to win two tickets to Super Bowl LIV in Miami.
The menu for the day is homemade chili and grilled cheese sandwiches.
The rescue squad at the paper mill has sponsored a Bloodmobile since back in the 1950s.
