CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (VR) – Connections Plus Healthcare and Hospice “a company with over forty years of service in the highlands” celebrated the opening of its new location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday December the 19th.

Area government officials and representatives from community organizations expressed gratitude for the healthcare provider’s long-standing presence and commitment to the Alleghany Highlands region. Tasha Walsh, CEO of Connections Plus, discussed the company’s goal of helping patients with advanced illnesses remain at home with dignity and comfort.

The event featured refreshments, a raffle for a truck, and an opportunity for attendees to mingle with the Connections Plus team.

After the remarks, the group gathered outside to officially cut the ribbon on the new facility. Connections Plus provides hospice and other healthcare services to residents of Rockbridge, Alleghany, Bath, Covington, Clifton Forge, and surrounding areas.
