New Traffic Line up announced for Covington Christmas parade

 

We are going to try something new this year at the Covington Christmas Parade “line up/registration”.

New traffic pattern, ALL ENTRIES WILL ENTER THROUGH THE REAR ENTRANCE of the Mill Parking lot

 

All “drop offs” will enter through the rear entrance and exit through the front, however we prefer everyone that can; to ride in with your club, group, organization, etc.

 

Suggestion for travel will be from Alleghany Ave, turn on to Riverside Ave, and enter through the rear entrance.

 

ALL Fire/EMS, tractor trailers, etc will line up along riverside as always in the past, with Covington Fire/EMS first and everyone else line up behind them.

 

Suggestions for large groups with multiple entries, aka car clubs, our suggestion will be to meet offsite somewhere and try to arrive as one large group so we can place everyone in the lineup where they are supposed to be.

 

We are hoping this will alleviate a lot of confusion and cluster.
