The City of Covington will hold a joint Public Hearing with the Planning Commission and City Council on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 4:30 pm, in Council Chambers, 333 W. Locust St, Covington, VA 24426 to act on the following applications:
1: Special exception request of Alleghany Highlands Community
Service Board to open a Crisis Intervention Center. The lot is
described as 13—112–10-, located at 214 N. Lexington Ave.
2: Rezoning request of Christ United Methodist Church from
R-3 to C-1. The lot is described as 14—2-3—1-, located at 200
E. Fudge St.
The application, proposed ordinance, and other information regarding this zoning ordinance change may be viewed at the office of the Building Official/Zoning Administrator at Buildings & Grounds, 340 E Walnut St, Covington, VA 24426 from 8:30 am to 5pm, Monday-Friday.
