Alleghany County Office to close in observance of Thanksgiving

The following offices will be closed on Thursday, November 28, 2024 and Friday, November 29, 2024 in observance of Thanksgiving:

County Offices located in the Alleghany County Governmental Complex, 9212 Winterberry Avenue, Covington, VA

These offices will reopen for business on Monday, December 2, 2024.

The Island Ford Transfer Station will be CLOSED on Thursday, November 28th and open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29th.  The refuse schedule for Thanksgiving Day (28th) will be posted separately.
