Please Vote for the Alleghany/Bath Co. ‘Football Friday’ Player of the Week, Week 9

Please vote for the Virginian Review Alleghany and Bath County ‘Football Friday’ Players of the Week for week 10. Three players from each school are nominated and combined together in one poll. We will take the top vote getters and announce the winners from each school on Monday nights (time may vary week-to-week). Again, there will be a winner from each school. Voting closes Monday, November 4, 2024, at 7:00 PM.

Bath County (defeated Parry McCluer 63-6):

Wyatt Campbell: 174 rush yds, 91 pass yds, 5 total TDs– interception on defense

Braiden Mabe: 74 passing yds, 3 TDs– defensive standout all game

Ethan Bryant: 115 rush yds, TD

Alleghany (beat James River 55-0):

Xzavier Hayslett: 7 receptions, 121-yds, touchdown, and an interception all coming in the first half. Accounted for six first downs.

Hunter Knighton: Two touchdowns; 4yd TD reception & 46-yd interception. Three receptions for 29-yds and 27-yds rushing.

Nick Frye:  Interception, fumble recovery, and several passes broken up.
