Please vote for the Virginian Review Alleghany and Bath County ‘Football Friday’ Players of the Week for week 3. Three players from each school are nominated and combined together in one poll. We will take the top vote getters and announce the winners from each school on Monday nights (time may vary week-to-week). Again, there will be a winner from each school. Voting closes Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, at 9:00 PM.

Nominees:

Alleghany (defeated Rockbridge Co. 63-14):

Des Jordan: 8-8 passing, 121 yards, 4 TDs

Nick Frye: rushing and receiving TDs

Buddy Leisure-White: 60-yd punt return for TD– 4 tackles on defense

 

Bath County (won 56-0 over Richwood, WV)

Ethan Bryant: 62 rushing yards, 2 TDs

Wyatt Campbell: 173 total yards, 5 TDs (3 rush, 2 pass)

Braiden Mabe: multiple tackles for lost yardage, blocked punt– 23 yds receiving, TD
