CANAL WINCHESTER, Ohio — Arlene V. Anderson, 83, of Canal Winchester, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Tuesday September 29, 2009 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center.
   Born June 26, 1926 in Buchanan to the late Max W. and Ruth E. (Bowers) Anderson; she was also preceded in death by brother Charles Anderson and sister-in-law Carol Anderson.
   She was a graduate of Covington High School.
   Arlene enjoyed her crafts including crochet, ceramics and sewing.
   She was retired from Western Electric/AT&T in Columbus, Ohio with over 30 years of service, and was formerly employed with Ohio Bell.
   She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Samuel Anderson; daughters, Dr. Patricia (Dr. Richard Santos) Seitz, Albuquerque, N.M., Judy (Ed) Huber, Columbus, Ohio and Pam (Tony) Fluharty, Easton, Md.; grandchildren Angela Santos, Kathy (Troy) Kisner and Becky Huber, Alex Malaney, Cora Beth and Gabriel Fluharty; great-grandchildren Arly Lynn and Cole Edward; brothers Boyd (Carol) Anderson, Linwood (Judy) Anderson, Mont Ray (Jewell) Anderson and Ralph Lewis Anderson, all of Covington; brother-in-law Robert (Rosemary) Anderson, Pataskala, Ohio; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
   Friends may visit Friday from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110.
   A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. P. K. Fowler officiating.
   Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
