Dear Editor,
Don’t gaslight us, Joe. And please don’t throw shade at Democrats, whether folks on the street or the “party elites” who are worrying about you and our democracy’s future. We are doing our best to suspend judgment, taking you up on your “Watch me!” challenge to prove your ability to BEAT TRUMP. Karine’s press conference did not help. Transparency matters! Yes, Dems like me would, as another guy put it, “ vote for Biden rather than Trump, even if he was DEAD!” I don’t see any of us voting for Trump. But unless the campaign looks honest and transparent rather than just confident and defiant, I am scared that young folks might not vote, and independents and Never Trumpers might sit it out or worse. So while you are out there on the campaign trail, why not authorize release of those medical records and clear up the confusion about the neurologist’s visits so we can get back to highlighting the contrast between the Democrats’ agenda versus the MAGA Republicans’ plan (Project 2025) to convert our 250 year old Democracy into an autocratic kleptocracy? Just asking…
