BEDFORD - Jean Walton Brady, 62, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, from her home in Moneta.
She was born Dec. 20, 1946, in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Alfred and Margaret Walton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Walton, and a sister, Margaret Idleman.
Surviving are her husband of 14 years, Paul Brady; children, Juanita Pulley and husband, Darrell, of Covington, Renee Fleming and husband, Stacy, of Athens, Ga., Denise Steele and partner, Jackie Funk, of Potomac Falls, and Greg Steele of Clifton Forge; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Alfred and Bert Walton, both of Covington; two sisters, Mary Gibson and Liz Angle of Richmond. She is also survived by her constant companion, toy poodle “Celebrity.”
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Beauregard St., Alexandria, Va. 22311
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and being handled by Oakey Funeral Service’s Vinton Chapel.
