Peter F. Spencer
Mr. Peter F. Spencer, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond.
Mr. Spencer was a graduate of Covington High School as well as Radford University. Pete served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. He was employed as a certified nursing assistant at Springtree Health and Rehabilitation Center in Roanoke where he used his gifts of compassion and strength to assist patients and residents. Pete was dearly loved by his patients and co-workers who will miss his caring personality and beautiful smile. He was a member of Pine Street Baptist Church. Pete was a loving, caring and awesome brother who loved his family with all of his heart.
Mr. Spencer is survived by his devoted and loving sister, Yolanda Spencer Osborne and husband, Don; a brother, Daniel Spencer and wife, Virginia; two nephews, Korey Goode and Terron Frank; two nieces, Terhonda Frank and Lisa Frank; several cousins; numerous friends including special friend, Danny.
Mr. Spencer was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
