WARM SPRINGS — These calls for service were made to the officers and staff of the Bath County Sheriff’s Office the week of Sunday, Oct. 4, through Saturday, Oct. 10:
Oct. 4: Deputy Colaw conducted a traffic stop on Jackson River Turnpike, assisted by Deputy D. Smith.  Deputy Colaw arrested a subject on assault and battery charges from Alleghany County. Deputy D. Smith transported the subject to the Alleghany Regional Jail.
Oct. 5: Deputy Brian Smith responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Big Lick Drive.
Oct. 5: Deputy B. Smith and Deputy Altizer responded to report of a breaking and entering on Seldom Seen Hollow.
Oct. 6: Deputy Altizer conducted a traffic stop on Mountain Valley Road.
Oct. 7: Deputy McRoberts spoke to an individual in reference to a reckless driver on Douthat State Park Road.
Oct. 7: Deputy Randozzo responded to Paul Siple Drive for a report of a stolen vehicle.
Oct. 7: Deputy D. Smith and Sheriff Plecker assisted Virginia State Police with a details check on Sam Snead Highway.
Oct. 7: Deputy D. Smith and Deputy Bryan responded to a residence in the Mitchelltown area for a report of a wild animal in the residence
Oct. 7: Deputy D. Smith and Deputy Bryan responded to Tunnel Hill Road for a report of a suspicious person.
Oct. 8: Deputy Colaw responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Sam Snead Highway.
Oct. 8: Deputy D. Smith responded to Courthouse Hill Road in reference to a dispute.
Oct. 9: Lieutenant Grimm responded to a report of a broken down vehicle on Sam Snead Highway.
Oct. 9: Deputy Altizer and Sgt. Smith responded to Penrose Drive for a report of a domestic situation.
Oct. 9: Sgt. Smith responded to a report of an injured animal on Sam Snead Highway.
Oct. 9: Sgt. Smith and Deputy B. Smith conducted a well-being check on Penrose Drive.
Oct. 10: Sgt. Smith checked on a report of a suspicious vehicle on Mountain Valley Road.
Oct. 10: Sgt. Smith and Deputy Altizer responded to a report of a suspicious person on Sam Snead Highway.
Oct. 10: Sgt. Smith and Deputy B. Smith responded to a report of property damage on T.C. Walker Road.
Oct. 10: Deputy B. Smith and Sgt. Smith responded to a report of an individual being intoxicated in Hot Springs.
Oct. 10: Deputy B. Smith arrested a subject from Ohio on charges of assault and battery.  Deputy B. Smith and Sgt. Smith transported the subject to the Alleghany Regional Jail.
