DEAR AUNT MARY,
Thank you for providing a place to write and get off our chest, if you will, things that bother us.
My husband says this letter won’t change anything, and I agree, but I just want to write anyway. He also said they would laugh and enjoy their bad behavior all the more, knowing it bothered some of us, but I still had to write to you.
We see this all the time when we are driving or walking down the road or shopping and I thought if I could make a difference with just a few, it would be a good thing to write to you about kids walking around with their pants falling off till they cannot walk normal.
Maybe they want to look like this, but did they know or realize that this look stated in prison where they, the inmates, have to give up their right to wear a belt to hold their pants up?
It can’t be comfortable wearing your pants this way. They have to be looking for attention. How sad.
Personally, I think there should be a law against it. Maybe it should fall under a decency law.
And I was in a store the other day and a person stooped to do her job, and I saw more than I was looking to see.
I think employers should demand higher standards of dress for their employees.
Well, this won’t change much but I had to write. Thanks again for your column so we can have a voice about such things.
