CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The No. 15 Virginia women’s tennis team (13-4, 6-0 ACC) won 4-1 against the Miami Hurricanes (10-3) on Sunday (March 22) at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
 
The Cavaliers are now on a seven-match win streak and are a perfect 6-0 in ACC play.
 
Virginia clinched the doubles point after a 6-3 win from No. 4 Vivian Yang and Melodie Collard on court one followed by a 6-3 win from sophomore Isabelle Lacy and freshman Kaitlyn Rolls on court three.
 
In singles play, Rolls once again notched the second point for the Cavaliers with her 7-5, 6-3 win on three. No. 81 Vivian Yang tacked on a 6-3, 6-4 win on two before Miami got on the board with a win on one. No. 108 Lacy secured the victory for Virginia with her 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 win on four.
 
UP NEXT
  • The Cavaliers are back at home next weekend, hosting Duke on Friday (March 27) and North Carolina on Sunday (March 29).
