COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – When the call went out for Valentines for Veterans three good Samaritans stepped up and did over 300 cards. A great addition to our numbers and so many veterans affected by their gift. When I went to present these Certificates of Appreciation for their help with our valentines, they had completed 200 Easter cards for veterans. Thank you, Betty Leitch, Jessie Johnson and Billie Gibson. A Certificate of Appreciation was also given to Amaya Macey who helped with the Valentines for Veterans. Thank you to these good citizens who are making a big difference in the veterans’ world.
