Alleghany Highlands Public Schools to be Closed in Observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

LOW MOOR, Va. (VR) — Alleghany Highlands Public Schools, including all schools and administrative offices, will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Schools and offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. This closure is listed in the approved 2025-26 Academic Calendar.
