LOW MOOR, Va. (VR) –  Alleghany went a perfect 6-0 to claim its second straight Alleghany Duals title on Saturday in Low Moor. 

The Cougars rolled past E.C. Glass (65-14), James River (66-10), Charlottesville (78-6), Fort Defiance (60-21), Greenbrier East, W.Va. (57-18) and Pulaski County (45-30), improving to 14-1 in duals this season.

Nick Powell, Taivon Nobles, Kylan Tolley, Carter Nicely, Jayvon Myers and Parker Osborne all finished 6-0 for Alleghany. Hayden Wolfe and Dylan Osborne went 5-1, Tristan Madison was 4-1, and Colin O’Brien posted a 3-1 mark.

 

Bath County split its six matches in the event.

 

The Chargers earned wins over E.C. Glass (42-21), Charlottesville (41-18) and Buffalo Gap (42-22), while falling to Pulaski County (51-30), Greenbrier East, W.Va. (54-14) and Page County (35-27).

Ethan Bryant went unbeaten at 6-0 for Bath County. Jesse Perry and Tyler Shaver each finished 5-1, while Jeremy Burns, A.J. Woodson and Azi Tyson were all 4-2.
