Dec. 28, 2025 Deputy O’Conner & Deputy Miller conducted a traffic stop in Mitchelltown.

Dec. 28, 2025 Deputy O’Conner & Deputy Altizer responded to Douthat State Park Rd for a dispute.

Dec. 29, 2025 Deputy Altizer conducted a traffic stop at the Warm Springs Pools.

Dec. 29, 2025 Deputy Rexrode checked on livestock in the roadway on Deerfield Rd.

Dec. 29, 2025 Deputy McRoberts assisted a citizen with keys locked in a vehicle in Hot Springs.

Dec. 31, 2025 Sheriff Plecker & Lt. Grimm arrested Ray Huffman on a probation violation.

Huffman was transported to Alleghany Regional Jail.

Dec. 31, 2025 Deputy McRoberts checked on a suspicious vehicle parked in Hot Springs.

Dec. 31, 2025 Sgt. Smith responded to Douthat State Park Rd. for a report of damage to a vehicle.

Jan. 1, 2026 Deputy Harlow conducted a traffic stop on Sam Snead Hwy near Fastbreak in Mitchelltown.

Jan. 1, 2026 Deputy Rexrode conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Mountain Valley Rd./Douthat State Park Rd.

Jan. 1, 2026 Lt. Grimm spoke to a citizen about a civil matter regarding rental property.

Jan. 3, 2026 Deputy Bryan & Deputy Colaw conducted a traffic stop in Panthers Gap.

Jan. 3, 2026 Lt. Grimm responded to Millboro for a report of trespassing.

Jan. 3, 2026 Deputy Colaw responded to Valley Supermarket for a suspicious vehicle.

Jan. 3, 2026 Deputy Bryan checked on a disabled vehicle on Courthouse Hill Rd.

Jan. 3, 2026 Deputy Colaw conducted a traffic stop on Mountain Valley Rd. in Millboro.

Bath County Sheriff’s Office emergency communications officers answered 212 incoming calls and made 89 outbound calls.
