City of Covington Offices to be Closed in Observance of Martin Luther King Day

COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – The City of Covington would like to make citizens and businesses aware that All City of Covington offices will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday. The Refuse Collection for Monday, January 19, 2026, will be collected on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

State Offices (Commissioner of Revenue, Treasurer and Registrar) will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026.

All offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
